Mr. Ellis

Ellis Lloyd Burke is a Mathematics educator with over 50 years of teaching experience. He holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of the West Indies (Mona) and a Master of Business Administration (Education Management) from the University of Leicester. Mr. Burke has taught across institutions in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, including 25 years at John Gray High School. He specialises in preparing students for CXC, IGCSE, and City & Guilds examinations and has been a valued member of the 100% Math team since 2020.

Dr. Kurt

Dr. Kurt McKenzie
Founder, Director and Principal Tutor

Dr. McKenzie is a Mathematics specialist with 30 years of teaching experience spanning secondary, tertiary, and professional levels. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and a Master’s in Mathematics,  and is currently conducting mathematical research in fuzzy differential equations, and completing a Master’s in Financial Engineering from the World Quant University.

Dr. McKenzie is a former First and Second Examiner for Calculus 1, 2 and 3, Linear Algebra, Analytical Geometry, and several Mathematics Education courses at the University of the West Indies. He currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at UWI Global Campus, teaching the postgraduate course Teaching Secondary Mathematics. He also works with the Cayman Islands Ministry of Education and Training.

Dr. McKenzie is also the founding principal and one of the founding directors of the Education Centre in Santa Cruz, Jamaica. A proud alumnus of the prestigious Munro College, where he completed his high school education, Dr. McKenzie’s commitment to educational excellence was evident from the very start.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. McKenzie is a devoted father to two boys and a proud husband. He is an avid songwriter, a passionate dog lover, and a lifelong fan of New Edition; proof that his taste in music is considerably better than his taste in football clubs. Speaking of which, he is also a lifelong Manchester United supporter, which over the last three years has taught him more about patience and resilience than any doctoral programme ever could.

Ms Shaundale

Chemistry Specialist

I am Miss Shaundale Douglas, B.Ed (Hons), MSc (Candidate), a dedicated Chemistry educator with a Bachelor of Education (Honours) in Chemistry and currently completing a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Management. I teach Chemistry across multiple levels, including CSEC Chemistry, IB Chemistry (SL and HL), CAPE Chemistry, and lower secondary grades. With over six years of combined teaching and tutoring experience, I am passionate about helping students truly understand concepts, build confidence, and achieve their personal best. I also have a strong passion for sustainability and enjoy helping students see how chemistry connects to real-world environmental challenges and solutions. Ms. Beverley

Lead Tutor – Economics & Finance

Ms. Wilson’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Finance. She has also completed over twenty certificate courses at the tertiary and postgraduate levels in economics and finance and is trained as a Certified Online Facilitator.
Ms. Wilson has over twenty years of experience teaching and facilitating learning at the secondary, A-level, tertiary and postgraduate levels in economics, statistics, finance, research along with business and management studies. Her teaching experience spans Guyana, Trinidad, and Barbados, where she currently resides and works. 

In 2021, Ms. Wilson joined 100%Math, where she continues to serve as a tutor and study buddy to students pursuing studies in economics, finance, managerial accounting, marketing and other social science–related subjects

Ms. Wilson, family-oriented at heart, also enjoys dressmaking, swimming, dancing, and singing.

Mr. Ramone

Ramone R. Jackson is a distinguished mathematics educator who approaches the discipline not merely as a subject to be completed, but as a language to be mastered and applied with confidence. He specializes in translating abstract theory into precise, accessible insight, enabling students to progress from uncertainty to structured analytical thinking.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics with Education and an MSc in Mathematics from The University of the West Indies, Mona, along with a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Harvard University. He is currently pursuing an MSc in Financial Engineering with WorldQuant University and a PhD in Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering at UWI. This blend of mathematical rigor, computational depth, and applied analytics positions him to support learners across the full academic spectrum, from foundational development to advanced quantitative reasoning.
With over a decade of professional experience, Ramone is recognized for delivering disciplined, high-clarity instruction within a focused and results-driven environment. His sessions are structured, intellectually demanding, and strategically designed to cultivate independent problem solvers who think beyond procedures and engage mathematics at a conceptual level.
Under his guidance, mathematics is not simplified. It is clarified, systematized, and mastered.
